Polwathumodara Bridge is one of the bridges located in Weligama area. This bridge connects two section Polwathumodara and Pelena areas in Weligama. Polwathumodara bridge is not only known as one of the access to Polwathumodara and Pelena, but over time this bridge is recently known as one of the tourist attractions in Weligama area. Its surrounding river area creates unique atmosphere with pictures view. The Polwathumodara estuary is a near by location which provide unique location where Polwatta river meats Indian ocean.
